This is a photograph that I’ve taken and edited of the Jefferson Memorial and the beautiful water that surrounds it. This memorial was approved by congress in June 1934. It was initially built by John Russell Pope. After his death in 1937, Daniel Higgins and Otto Eggers took over the construction. The memorial is located on the Tidal Basin however it replaced the Japanese cherry trees. This is a good picture with a plain background, an accurate measurement of light and good direction. The Jefferson Memorial is special to the United States because it commemorates one of the nation’s most influential President’s.
